Arjanne Van Der Spek was born in Rotterdam, Holland in 1958. She studied at the Royal Academy of Art and Design, 's Hertogenbosch from 1978 - 1980. Then at Ateliers '63 Haarlem until 1982.
Van Der Spek's work is widely collected, especially by Mr Martin Visser, who has commissioned a number of works and who has put on an exhibition of his collected works at Vrije University, Amsterdam.
