WATCH-OFFICE.

Known in later years as the Control Tower, this building was the nerve-centre of the aerodrome. Typical layout would consist of a meteorological office, a teleprinter room, a Duty Pilot's room, a watch-office and a latrine downstairs, while upstairs would be a signals office, control room, and a rest room.

It looks like it has been altered somewhat since WWII, so it is difficult to tell what type of building this is; I would guess a (modified) type 12779/41. Note the foreground building. It looks like a smaller watch-office of the fighter satellite airfield type.
