hypa understands that the aliens will shortly cure all of earth's year 2000 computer problems. It is rumoured that they will deploy a "good" virus that will find it's way into every computer on the planet within a few months.
Once in the computer, the virus will correct any problems it finds related to the year 2000 problem. hypa believes that the US government is still negotiating payments with the aliens for the use of their technology to solve our problems. They remain hopeful that the technology-loving aliens will waive most of the fee to which they would be entitled.
