Series 8000 is a 100mm thick steel-reinforced aluminium framed panel, available in multi-directional or centre-hung configurations. The 8000 can offer high acoustic performance up to 54dB sound rating.
When aesthetics are important, the 8000 offers an almost unlimited choice of panel finishes for the ultimate in design flexibility. Choose from Hufcor’s superb range of standard vinyls and wall carpets, or specify other wall coverings, fabrics, high-pressure laminates, melamines, wood veneers, etc. Multiple finishes, inset marker boards, pinboard, display rails, vision panels and pass doors are available.
Standard aluminium framing profiles protect the faces and edges of panels for durability and long partition life. Optional 115mm thickness “trimless” panels are available with concealed edge protection to achieve a 'plain wall' appearance. Chair rails, timber mouldings, and other decorative features can be factory supplied or may also be applied to plain faces on site. Special fire-rated versions achieving up to two hours resistance can also be supplied.
Aluminium frames and track may be powder coated or colour anodised to coordinate with panel faces, ceiling grids, etc.
Fully retractable top and bottom mechanical seals allow friction-free movement of panels, good stability and fast set-up times. Only half a turn of the operating handle is required to extend or retract these seals.
Systems are normally top hung. For systems where overhead support is unavailable, a floor-supported system can be supplied.
