"I Hate LeJohn" begins in the bedroom of Michael McGowan, a young boy who is hanging out with his friend, Michael McGregor. The two strapping young lads get bored and decide to make a man out of balloons. And, alas, LeJohn is born. He is a small man made out of balloons.
After getting bored with LeJohn, they leave him on a desk and go to watch a film. LeJohn dies during the night due to neglect, but comes back to life for revenge on everyone and anyone for discriminating against balloons.
LeJohn's first kill is an innocent victim who is walking around. When two detectives find him, their investigation into the balloon killer begins.
Back at the office, they read up on killers and discover that the killer may have been a balloon-man, so they head off to find LeJohn before he can kill again.
Out on the prowl, one of the detectives is brutally attacked by LeJohn and killed. The other detective finds his mutilated body and vows revenge.
Back at the office, he calls in Michael McGregor, who is suspected of making LeJohn. After some brutal questioning, McGregor is released, and the detective hits the street.
He is attacked and killed by LeJohn in an alleyway.
Meanwhile, Michael McGregor and Michael McGowan meet back up to discuss what they can do about their ghastly creation. They conclude that the only way to stop LeJohn would be to create a balloon nemesis for him. So, they make LeWong. A balloon hero, with a huge chainsaw.
They head off to find LeJohn. After finding him in the alleyway that he killed the detective in, LeJohn and LeWong begin to do battle. LeWong chops off LeJohn's head, and everything is back to normal again...or is it?
We see LeJohn's head laugh evilly...
