Chairman
|
Has overall responsibility for the running of the club.
Chairs the committee meetings and Annual General Meeting. Is involved in all major
decisions.

Vice Chairman
|
Is a member of the committee and deputises for the Chairman.
Would take over chairmanship of the club, until the next AGM or EGM, if the current
Chairman resigned.
|
Treasurer
|
Controls all the financial records for the club and is a
member of the committee. Involved in all financial decisions.
|
Secretary
|
Controls all the administration for the club. Records the
minutes at all committee meetings, AGMs and EGMs.
|
Committee Member
|
Attends committee meetings, approximately six per year, to
discuss club matters, decide on forthcoming productions etc.
|
Social Committee
|
A sub group of the main committee who meet approximately six
times a year to plan and organise social and fundraising events for the whole club.
|
Production Committee
|
Normally consists of the producers/directors, the treasurer,
stage manager and a couple of committee members to ensure large scale productions go
smoothly.
|
Director
|
Person(s) responsible for directing shows.
|
Producer
|
Person(s) responsible for producing shows and transferring
the directors ideas into actions on stage. Quite often, the director and producer is the
same person.
|
Musical Director
|
Responsible for directing the show music, teaching the cast
harmonies, solos, etc. Liaising with the band as to what type of music is required.
|
Stage Manager
|
Liaises with the show producers/directors as to what they
visualise the set being and what is possible. Organises and controls the construction of
the set. Runs the show during performances and manages the backstage crew.
|
Set Designer
|
Designs and paints the backcloths and scenery for each show.
|
Choreographer
|
Devises and directs any dance movement required in shows.
|
Stage Crew
|
Report to the stage manager. Responsible for setting and
striking all scenery, cloths etc during performances.
|
Properties
|
Obtains or makes required props for each production. Ensures
they are in the right place at the right time.
|
Wardrobe
|
Design, make or obtain all costumes. During shows ensure
costumes are immaculate and help any cast members with quick changes.
|
Lighting Crew
|
Install necessary lights for each production and operate
lighting desk during performances.
|
Sound Crew
|
Obtain any necessary sound effects. Install sound equipment
and microphones and operate sound desk during performances.
|
Make-Up Artist
|
Responsible for all the casts make-up for
performances.
|
Prompt
|
Prompts actors if they forget their lines during a show.
|
Front of House
|
Organise the auditorium. Responsible for checking tickets at
the door, organising the raffle, refreshments and generally helping out front of house.
|
Publicity Officer(s)
|
Ensure CCADS shows and events are adequately publicised.
