I have been working in the Information Technology field since '95, but
remember the old ZX Spectrum, and sitting in Essex University's IT department
playing land the lunar module whilst my uncle tweaked the mainframe...
It
wasn't till I had an Amiga 64, 500 and then a 1200 that I really got bitten by
the bug, it was not long before I got working with DOS based computers, then
came along Windows and Novell which really started me in my present career.
As with all things IT, the studying never stops, as technology moves
forward, we play catch up, constantly updating our certifications,
knowledge and experience. It is a challenge that I enjoy and thrive
on. Being on the bleeding edge... You either love this field or you
get out of it...
