On to Hospitality

The Mongolian Bar, Birmingham

This town centre pub is, according to many, one of the best places to meet and enjoy traditional "pick your own" stir- fried food and ice cold vodka. The concept was well developed with John Forward at Bass Lease, and John Morgan, the tenant. The design featured a 15m long mural painted by local artist Ian Williams.

If you do visit The Mongolian Bar, try and spot our site architectural sign - the landlord decided to put it on the ceiling as a token of appreciation for our work

The Paradise Club, Birmingham

Following a major rebuild project for Carlsberg Tetley, The Paradise Club is certainly pulling in the crowds. "We designed it with a 60's feel with lots of mahogany, a centre balcony and cat walk." said Mike Taylor. The £350,000 project included the complete re-building and fitting out of the club and took less than nine weeks.

Chicago Rock Cafe, Worcestershire

Last year Taylor & Co. were presented with a prestigious award from the Mayor of Worcester for 'the contribution made to the quality of the City' after the success of the conversion and repair of the Chicago Rock Cafe on New Street. This £1m project was undertaken for Luminare Leisure Plc.

Burger King, Newcastle upon Tyne

We have certainly developed some expertise in fast food outlets, including producing a package design for Wimpy Franchisees. Burger King is another major client and for Eric Harrison, we developed this appealing and colourful outlet in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Located in an up and coming art area, Eric brought no less than 20 pictures from New York to help create just the right ambience. Yet more refurbishment works are underway for Burger King franchises in Leicester, Peterborough, Walthamstow and High Wycombe - if you're out and about, call in to judge our work for yourself (and grab a bite to eat, of course!).
