The
Angel, Bewdley The Angel - one of the oldest pubs in the town of Bewdley - is pulling in more business following a conversion of the back bar. Designed especially for the younger crowd, the bar has created a mixture of the best of English and American culture. "Taylor & Co took a large Victorian high-ceilinged room and made it into the place to be and be seen" says landlord Keith Spalding. "Although Bewdley is quite a small town, there are nearly 20 pubs and wine bars in the vicinity - some competition!" |

| The pub had an old style dining room and Allied
Domceq approached Taylor and Co for concept ideas - the
budget was not large and we were selected for our
particular expertise in public houses and hotels. It has proven so successful that five more have been opened in Surrey, Essex and Staffordshire - with even more in the pipeline. |
