Steve Slimelight

As you might guess from his DJ-name, Steve is one of the longest-standing DJs at London's legendary Slimelight. He's also done various behind-the-decks stints at assorted clubs and festivals around Europe - and on December 3 2000 he provided between-band tunes for the Wasp Factory album-launch bash at the Underworld. This extravaganza featured eight bands in four one-night-only 'supergroup' formations as detailed below. Betwen the live stuff, Steve knocked out a set which provides a rather neat snapshot of what's burning down the European club dancefloor as we lurch into the 21st Century. You might notice the inclusion of a track by Revolution By Night: this is new material, not yet on general release, from Steve's own band.

Right, then. Spin them CDs...
