The Rossendale Rambler

Last November at the AGM, Richard Sumner was presented with a certificate for the ‘Best Walk of the Year’, this being the Moel Siabod outing he led on the 14th September 1997.

Richard was pleased to receive the award, seeing it as a recognition of the hard work he has put in as a leader.

We would like to continue to recognise the sterling work that all our walk leaders do in order to bring you, the membership, a rich variety of walks during the year.

We would therefore be grateful if those who have attended walks over the year, could fill in the form at the side and send it to Alan Johnson so that we can, once again, recognise the most popular walk of the year.

Please return the form before the date of the AGM so that the announcement can be made on the night and the leader can be presented with his/her certificate.

If you do not want to spoil your ‘Rossendale Rambler’ by cutting out the form, a photocopy or a piece of plain paper with the information requested will suffice.
