THREE LONELY OLD MENA Tale of Woe.
 The three lonely old men have been drastically reduced in number due to a series of mishaps: Following my triumphant announcement last time that we were now four, ‘young’ Alan has been reduced to Skanks’ Pony after his iron horse gasped it’s last breath and expired before his very eyes. The other LOM, Frank, has suffered a far worse fate, and unfortunately was badly injured when he fell off a ladder at first-floor level. Frank is getting better and I am sure all the readers wish him well. In the meanwhile, Richard and I will keep up the consumption of Porter’s excellent ale.
