Uk Christmas Appearences
Destiny's Child were scheduled for Christmas appearences with Next. In London and at the Aston Villa Leisure Centre. Next cancelled and 112 took their place.

August 1998

Choice FM Summer Jam cancelled
LL Cool J and subsequent acts including Destiny's Child, decided to pull out of the Choice 1022.2 Summer Jam. No Destiny's Child for the UK (yet!).

16th July - AOL Chat -  AOL chat with Destiny's Child on Teenpeople at 8PM.

9th July - Choice Summer Jam -  Choice 102.2 FM announce the acts for their annual Summer Jam at the NEC in Birmingham. The following acts were signed, Kci & JoJo, LL Cool J, Dawn Robinson, Montell Jordan and of course Destiny's Child. DC were down for performing 3 songs from the album.

6th July - AOL Chat -  AOL chat with Destiny's Child on Teenpeople at 8PM.

5th July - With Me Single -  The single With Me entered the UK charts art #19

4th July - Destiny's Child Celebrate -  Destiny's Child celebrate their 7 year anniversary of being a group with a little gathering of family and friends.

3rd July - Song with Matthew Mardsen -  Appearently Destiny's Child have recorded vocals for Matthew Mardsen. They decided they wanted to sing backing after hearing his cover of Hail and Oates 'She's Gone' in the Columbia Records offices.

2nd July - Inteview -  An interview done with Destiny's Child is published on Teletext's Club 140. Transcripts of this can be found in the Press Release section.

June 1998

26th June - Missing Costumes -  A $1000 reward and a free trip to one of Destiny's Childs concerts was awarded for anybody who finds missing sequined dresses belonging to Destiny's Child. On their tour with Boyz II Men, the piece of luggage was relalised missing once the group arrived at New York's LaGuardia Airport.

23rd June - Tour -  Destiny's Child, Boyz II Men, Uncle Sam, Kci & JoJo (and others) finish their tour of the USA.

April 1998

8th April - TV appearence -  Destiny's Child featured in an Access Hollywood piece which will aired on Saturday, April 11th at 4am (Sunday morning) and again Sunday, April 12th at 12midnight on Access Hollywood Channel 4 (NBC).

7th April - TV appearence -  Destiny's Child performed on BET's Planet Groove on Tuesday, April 7th.

5th April - No No No Single -  The single 'No No No' slips down to number 20 in the UK charts.

March 1998 - No No No Single

29th March - No No No Single -  The single No No No enters at number 5 in the UK charts.

29th March - Radio Interview -  Destiny's Child have a live interview on BBC radio 1.

16th March - Album -  The debut album "Destiny's Child" is released.
