July '99
14th July - Lyrics to the track Jumpin Jumpin which is from The Writing's On The Wall have been added to the lyrics page, Bills, Bills, Bills was also added to the discograpgy page.

12th July - Bills, Bills, Bills, which is the first single from the new Destiny's Child LP was released in the UK on 2 CD's, each featuring a remix, check the discography pages for more info on the single.

10th July - DC perform on the UK Saturday morning music show Cd:Uk, with an exclusive live preview performance of Bills, Bills, Bills.

7th July - Destiny's Child perform at Camden Palace in London exlusively for Kiss Smooth Grooves Night...

1st July - Destiny's Child appear in the July edition of FHM magazine, the 1 page article contains an interview and some general info on how the group started along with a picture. You can read the interview from - the press release section.

June '99
24th June - Macromusic have nominated Destiny Web as their "Noteworthy Site Of The Day!!". Thanks to those who suggested the site and to Macromusic for choosing our site!.

18th June - Site content updated added, video clips from "Bills,Bills,Bills", Interview on "The Big Breakfast" and a With Me performance from Top Of The Pops. Added interviews section to replace the mp3 pages, introduced a video grabs section to the pictures page.

15th June - Industry katz turn on the heat and order us to take down the sound booth section, would our streaming only real audio from "Writing's On The Wall" really affect album sales?.

14th June - Destiny's Child are radio interviewed on K-Cee's 'Flava Zone' on Galaxy 102.2.    [interview avaliable to listen to in multimedia section]

14th June - Bills, Bills, Bills..the first single from the new album is released in the States, UK release is in a couple weeks..

13th June - Destiny's Child are radio interviewed on Trevor Nelsons 'Rhythm Nation' on BBC Radio 1.     [interview avaliable to listen to in multimedia section]

6th June - Added pictures of DC from their TV appearence on The Big Breakfast, excuse the quality of the pics!!.

5th June - After hearing from peeps above us [hint].. We decided to remove the Mp3 files hosted by Destiny Web, but the Sound Booth is still on-line with all the tracks we used to offer in Mp3 format.

4th June - Destiny's Child make a UK Tv appearence on Channel 4's live weekday morning show "The Big Breakfast". They had a short interview about their new album and a clip of the Bills,Bills,Bills video was also shown. In the interview they revealed that the new single will be released on July 5th. The video to the track looks pretty cool from what little they showed.

1st June - Destiny Web is re-launched and uploaded onto the internet.


May '99
22nd May - Added the track "Stimulate Me" featuring Mocha which is from the soundtrack to the film 'Life'; into the Sound Booth section of the site.

1st May - We've heard "Bills Bills Bills" played on the Radio 1 Rap Show which was hosted by Tim Westwood. We've put the track in the Sound booth section of the site!, get a listen of the next track they'll release! (the longest and best quality clip ANYWHERE!).

April '99
Apr 17th - DC will be in the UK again in May. They are probably going to be promoting the new album, they have also hinted of hopefully wanting to tour with the Backstreet boys.

17th April - Destiny's Child along with Wycelf, Pras, Nas, Eagle Eye Cherry and many others perform at the Haitian benfit concert Carnival '99.

There was an excellent 20 minute set from Destiny's Child from the Carnival '99 benefit concert in Miami. They sang a few tracks from the album and 2 from the new one. "Get On The Bus" and "Bills, Bills, Bills".

15th April - Our site, Destiny Web is 1 years old!

13th April - New Album News!!
Destiny's Child have revealed that the their new album is going to be titled "The Writings On The Wall". Apparently it will be more of a party album with more upbeat tracks including a track named "Bills, Bills, Bills" which they performed at the Carnival '99 benefit concert; it will feature collaborations with Next and Missy Elliot!. Also as a bonus the CD will be enhanced and will contain videos of all 4 Destiny's Child major releases!!.

17th January - The Single 'Get On The Bus' gets to position #15 in the UK top 40.
11th January - Surprisingly, Destiny's Child release the Missy Elliot produced track 'Get On The Bus' instead of 'Illusions'.
