MidgeMidge is a tortoiseshell cat and came to us when she wasabout two months old from an animal retreat. It took a long time for her to loose her fear of humans as she had been obviously ill-treated.She is now really part of the furniture and matches some of the carpets beautifully. She obviously misses the spaciousness of Manor House Farm and its wild surroundings but is slowly becoming acclimatised to becoming a town cat. |
MikkiMikki is a "red" Cairn Terrier who has been with us for thirteen years now and not only knows Dulwich and its parks but the farmland of Somerset where we lived before moving to Bournemouth. He is much happier here as he can run off the lead in the garden of the hotel without fear of him attacking sheep or chickens!Now that he goes for walks on pavements his claws are becoming much shorter. If you meet him try saying "I wonder if that dog . . ." and watch his ears prick up at the thought of some new delight! |
