My Name is Peter Turner my hobbies are computers and Tropical fish. I am Chairman of Dunstable & District Aquarists Society and I have set up these pages for the them. April 1997.
Devoted mainly to Tropical Fish it is another in the growing number of all U.K. pages. This is my first attempt at this, but from little acorns large Oaks will grow or something like that.
My main focus of interest at the moment is Keeping & Breeding Tanganyikan Cichlids & I welcome any communication on the subject what ever form it may take.
My wife is Helen and she Breeds and shows champion Poodles. She also a canine beautician and Championship dogshow judge.

D.D.A.S were formed nearly 50 years ago and have about thirty members at
the present time, from all walks of life. Some members have fish houses and
concentrate on breeding specialist fish, others just one tank in the house with
community fish.
We take part in and organise Open Fishshows and Auctions
and at our club meetings regularly have speakers, slide shows and demonstrations
about the hobby.
We also organise social occasions outside of fishkeeping
that members families can also take part in.
We welcome anybody with like
interests to come to our meetings. You do not have to be experienced in fish
keeping; we welcome anybody as we all started in the same place and learned as
we went along. You will not be asked to join on the first night as the first
three meetings are free, so just come along and enjoy yourselves.
