Entering the interior of the planet now it seems, and nasty laser-spitting enemies attack in force. These are basts as their firepower goes straight through your shields.This level really reminds me of a similar one in Axelay, even down to the background colours. Coincidence? Maybe..maybe not..

This sub-boss is a swine as well.. don't try killing it because you won't be able to.. just dodge his myriad of bullets as best you can and hope your shield holds out until he gets bored and wanders off. Check out the swarm of flies around him.. he must hum a bit eh?..

The trouble with Biometal is that it takes a while to fully power-up your weapons as you need to collect 3 stages of power up before you reach full strength, and the power-ups themselves are rather scarce. A lucky break here has got me a stage 3 laser though.. these do some REAL damage to the bad guys. Hehe, I like..

..and here is the stage Boss.. some kind of weird alien er.. ok..ok it's a flower ;) A nasty one though.. good job I've held onto that laser or I'd be in trouble. Not too hard, let's get cracking onto the next stage..
