Green Barley Barley grass has been described as ‘the most excellent source of nutrients that the body needs for growth, repair and well-being.’ (Dr Yoshihide Hagiwara, President of the Hagiwara Instutue of Health in Japan.) In addition to high amounts of essential vitamins and
nutrients, barley grass also contains a substance known as P4D1. This substance has
anti-inflammatory properties, and has been shown to repair DNA in the cells
of the body, helping prevent cancer generation, aging and cellular
death. Research has shown
that it suppresses pancreatitis and dermatitis, ‘improves stamina, sexual
energy, clarity of thought and reduces addictions. It also improves the texture of the skin and heals
the dryness associated with aging.’ (Dr Howard Lutz, director of the Institute of
Preventative Medicine in Washington, D.C..) Other constituents of barley grass include chlorophyll and
a powerful antioxidant enzyme superoxidase dismutase. The benefits of chlorophyll are too many to list here, but
briefly can help detoxify the blood and the tissues, with improved
oxygenation to the tissues in general, and can help with blood pressure,
heavy metal detoxification, and has anti-bacterial properties. Our green barley powder has been prepared from organically
grown barley grass, and is free from any type of chemicals or additives. Recommended
Dosage
½ teaspoon (approximately 0.5g) daily in water. May be increased if necessary – as advised by a health
