| HOME | J16 J16 is a herbal capsule that is often recommended for arthritis. It is particularly beneficial for non-inflammatory arthritis. This propriety blend of herbs has been synergistically combined for their efficacy in reducing or eliminating the pain associated with arthritis, and to help with the condition in general. It is important to consider the role of the diet when treating arthritis, and to consider the role of parasites, food sensitivities, and bowel dysbiosis. J16 is often recommended in conjunction with other nutritional products, such as Shark Cartilage (usually used when there is a degree of inflammation), Glucosamine, or calcium / magnesium (or similar) preparations. Cautions / Adverse ReactionsJ16 has proven over many years to be safe and well-tolerated, with little or no adverse effects. On very rare occasions may cause mouth ulcer, sore tongue or skin rash. Caution needs to be taken in long-term use, as it contains Liquorice, which in large doses over a prolonged period may lead to a loss of potassium from the body, and ultimately high blood pressure. This would be most unusual for J16 as the dosage of Liquorice is quite low. Avoid in pregnancy, breast feeding and with oral contraceptive pill, and in peptic ulceration.
