Milk Thistle - Silymarin

Milk thistle is primarily known to protect and improve liver function.

Many studies have shown that it can protect the liver when it is exposed to various toxins, such as viruses or chemicals known to cause liver damage.

In addition it has been shown to improve liver function when this has been impaired.

This includes the intrinsic liver function (hepatocellular function) in addition to the flow of bile from the liver (extrinsic function).

It also has potent anti-oxidant functions.

This particular formulation combines the benefits of the whole herb together with that of the herb extract, with a guaranteed dosage of Silymarin of 115-120mg per capsule.

Recommended Dosage

One capsule, up to three times daily.

May be increased if necessary – as advised by a health practitioner.

Cautions / Adverse Reactions

Milk Thistle is well tolerated at the recommended dosage.

There are no known contra-indications to Milk Thistle at the normal dosage.

Silymarin 80%
