Various Links and other Miscellaneous Gibberings.

I did think about putting a list of my hobbies and interests here, but if you take a quick check on the links here I imagine that you should be able to figure some of them out for yourself.
I was going to put pretty little pictures for each link but then I thought - What the hell, I'm no Michaelangelo and I did say on the Homepage that I would try to keep this quick to load.

Anyone who has read any of the Discworld novels of Terry Pratchett won't need this link, but for anyone else with a sense of humour (and of the ridiculous) it is a must!

On the subject of humour I have to include a link to the Dilbert Zone. I need the 50 bonus points for DNRC. (Check it out and see.)

I used to do a fair bit of photography and was a member of the Edinburgh Photographic Society at one time. Although I don't really have the time to do much now, it's nice to check this site and see some of the work of the present members.

These pages are very far from being finished but they would not be anywhere as advanced as this in the time I've had without the invaluable help of "The Complete Idiots guide to HTML" and Arachnophilia. So if there are any other absolute beginners reading this, do yourself a favour and check out these links.

On the subject of Arachnophilia, this program is Careware. Do the world a favour and visit this link and think about it, Please!

I did have the idea of trying to include links to as many useful reference pages as I could find, but then I came across Sheilsoft site and found that it had already been done and better than I could do it. This is a site well worth bookmarking!

Another link that deserves some thought is the Campaign for Free Speech on the Net. This should concern every one of us. A similar group is the Green Ribbon movement for responsibility in free speech. This site is a bit religous and preachy but their basic message is well worth thinking about.

As you've found your way here it's likely that you came this way, but if not then you might like to check out the Unofficial list of Homepages on Globalnet. More lists of Globalnet users homepages can be found at Globalwatch and at Kingdom World. The Kingdom World link is only really worth following if you're using IE4 and at least 800x600 resolution. A newly set up system is now in operation at Globering.
