Reiki is a gentle yet powerful universal energy and natural healing art that promotes an increase in energy and well being. It is completely natural and safe.

Reiki has it's roots in Tibetan Buddhist and Shinto traditions. In the late 1800s, Reiki was developed in Japan by Mikao Usui-sensei after years of personal spiritual practice. Mrs Takata brought Reiki to the West where it has grown into the practical healing art that we can recognise today. In 1999 some of the original Japanese practices became available again in the West and Chris has integrated them into her workshops to give you the best of both traditions.

You can receive the gift of Reiki for yourself during a Reiki Workshop, where you are awakened as a channel for this sacred art. Anyone can learn to give Reiki and once awakened in you, Reiki is yours for life. It offers a natural energy protection to all those who are attuned, and is particularly appropriate for natural healers, those in the caring professions and seekers of the truth. Classes are taught in small friendly groups with top quality tuition and practical support from a teacher with many years of experience.
