About Dovetales

It was just over seven years ago that bill heap first had a vision from the Lord to go to preach and teach the Christian faith, that he would pray with the sick and they would be healed, not only in this country, but around the world.

At the time, bill was still employed by the fire service, a job he thoroughly enjoyed, but god's Calling was confirmed a number of times.

Although at first the vision seemed too big, Bill and his wife Janet stepped out in faith, "for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable" Romans 11:29.(NIV). Dovetales first missionary trip to India took place in October 1990. God confirmed the call again during the first month away. On return to the UK, bill took early retirement from the fire service. In terms of personal living expenses, God had made provision by supplying a small fire service pension for Bill and Janet on which to live.

Dovetales international trust is now a registered charity, involved in Christian missionary and humanitarian aid at home and abroad.
