The Old Testament
"And God said, Let us make man in
our image, after our likeness: ... So God created man in His own
image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created
He them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful
and multiply, ... And God saw every thing that He had made, and,
behold, it was very good" (Genesis 1:26-28,31).
"Cain rose up against Abel his brother,
and slew him. And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy
brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper? And He
said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth
unto me from the ground. And now art thou cursed from the earth,
which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy
hand" (Genesis 4:8-11).
"Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man
shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man"
(Genesis 9:6).
"...and the LORD was entreated of
[Isaac], and Rebekah his wife conceived. And the children struggled
together within her" (Genesis 25:21-22).
"Thou shalt not kill" (Exodus 20:13).
"If men strive, and hurt a woman with
child, so that her fruit depart
[i.e. premature birth] from her, and yet no mischief
[i.e. the death of the child]
follow: he shall be surely punished ... and he shall pay as the
judges determine. And if any mischief
[i.e. the death of the child] follow, then thou shalt give
[the man's]
life for [the child's] life" (Exodus 21:22-23).
"Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor
put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God"
(Leviticus 19:14).
"[T]hou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself" (Leviticus 19:18b).
"And if he smite him with an
instrument of iron, so that he die ... And if he smite him with
throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die ... And if he
smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he
die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death"
(Numbers 35:16-18).
"Whoso killeth any person, the
murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: ...
Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer,
which is guilty of death: but hew shall surely be put to death"
(Numbers 35:30-31).
"So ye shall not pollute the land
wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land, and the land cannot
be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of
him that shed it. Defile not therefore the land which ye shall
inhabit" (Numbers 35:33-34a).
"Thou shalt not kill" (Deuteronomy
5:17).
"...neither shall the children be put
to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his
own sin" (Deuteronomy 24:16).
"I call heaven and earth to record this day
against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing:
therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live" (Deuteronomy 30:19).
"[Saul] said unto me again, Stand, I
pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me,
because my life is yet whole in me. So I stood upon him, and slew
him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was
fallen: ... And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to
stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed? And David
called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him.
And he smote him that he died. And David said unto him, Thy blood be
upon thy head" (2 Samuel 1:9-10a,15-16).
"O bless our God, ye people ... Which
holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved"
(Psalm 66:8a-9).
"Yea, they sacrificed their sons and
their daughters unto devils, and shed innocent blood, even the blood
of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the
idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. Thus were
they defiled with their own works" (Psalm 106:37-39a).
"Lo, children are a heritage of the
LORD: and the fruit of the womb is His reward. As arrows are in the
hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man
that hath his quiver full of them" (Psalm 127:3-5a).
"O LORD, thou hast searched me
and known me ... For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered
me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and
wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; ... My substance was not hid from
thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest
parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect;
and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were
fashioned, when as yet there was none of
them" (Psalm 139:1-16).
"If thou forbear to
deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to
be slain;
If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not He that pondereth
the heart consider it?
and He that keepeth thy soul, doth not He knoweth it?
and shall not He render to every man according to His works?"
(Proverbs 24:11-12).
"There is no man that hath power over
the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of
death" (Ecclesiastes 8:8a).
"For your hands are defiled with
blood, and your fingers with iniquity; ... they make haste to shed
innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and
destruction are in their paths" (Isaiah 59:3a,7).
"Before I formed thee in the belly I
knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified
thee" (Jeremiah 1:5a).
"And they have built the high placed
of Tophet ... to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire;
which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart" (Jeremiah
7:31).
"Moreover thou hast taken thy sons
and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou
sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a
small matter, That thou hast slain my children, and delivered them
to cause them to pass through the fire for them?" (Ezekiel
16:20-21).
"The soul that sinneth, it shall die.
The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father ... the
righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness
of the wicked shall be upon him" (Ezekiel 18:20).
"[B]lood is in their hands ... and
have also caused their sons, whom they bear unto me, to pass for
them through the fire, to devour them ... when they had slain their
children to their idols, then they came the same day into my
sanctuary to profane it; and lo, thus have they done in the midst of
mine house" (Ezekiel 23:37,39).
"...and the God in whose hand thy
breath is, and whose are all thy ways" (Daniel 5:23b).
The New Testament
"Therefore all things whatsoever ye
would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them" (Matthew
7:12).
"...Jesus saith, Thou shalt do no
murder" (Matthew 19:18a).
"Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself" (Matthew 22:39b).
"Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as
ye have done it unto one on the least of these my brethren, ye have
done it unto me" (Matthew 25:40).
"And it came to pass, that, when
Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe
[6 months gestation leaped in
her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And she
spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit [2
weeks gestation] of thy womb.
And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to
me? For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine
ears the babe leaped in my womb for joy" (Luke 1:41-44).
"In Him was life; and the life was
the light of men ... That was the true Light, which lighteth every
man that cometh into the world" (John 1:4,9).
"For in Him we live, and move, and
have our being" (Acts 17:28a).
"...Thou shalt not kill" (Romans
13:9b)
"Bear ye one another's burdens, and
so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2).
Standing in the
Gap
"Therefore He said that He would
destroy them, had not Moses His chosen stood before Him in the
breach, to turn away His wrath, lest He should destroy them" (Psalm
106:23).
"And He saw that there was no man,
and wondered that there was no intercessor" (Isaiah 59:16a).
"Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a
fast, call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the
congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those
that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber,
and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the minsters of
the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say,
Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach"
(Joel 2:15-17).
"I will give no
deadly medicine to anyone if asked nor suggest such counsel,
nor in like manner will I give a woman a pessary to produce
abortion"

even against threat I will not use my medical knowledge contrary to
the laws of humanity"

co-operation in the destruction of life by murder, suicide and
abortion [is] the greatest crime"

engaged in human sacrifice. Abortion is our version of it.
God is judging us with the violence on our streets. The Almighty is warning us
through that judgement.
But make no mistake, a greater judgement is coming should we not repent.
Every one of those pagan societies was destroyed and taken over by a spiritually
stronger people.

for the old paths, where is the good way,
and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls
