The First Ones begin to disappear, some travelling beyond the stars. They leave behind the Shadows ant the Vorlons to shepherd the younger species along; the Vorlons following the rigid path of order, while the Shadows prefer the evolutionary path of Chaos and Conflict.

Over the next million years there are a series of wars between the "First Ones" and the Shadows. The Shadows are often driven from Z'ha'dum, but always return; Lorien says they believe they are "paying their respects" to him, though he believes that both they and the Vorlons "no longer understand".

The last Great War between the Shadows and the First Ones.

The Vorlons visit lesser interstellar species, implanting them with the idea that they are glowing beings of light.

An unknown species begins building a network of jumpgates across the galaxy.

Minbari begin to decline in population. (Something begins to weaken the Minbari, "the power holding the Shadows in check.")

The Minbari first begin to travel in space. They discover the ancient network of jumpgates.

Sinclair becomes Earth Ambassador to Minbar.

Delenn becomes a half-Human, half-Minbari hybrid.

Delenn and Sinclair travel to Minbari. Jeminer 'The Chosen One' becomes Leader of the Grey Council and Sinclair is arrested for an assassination attempt on Jenimer. Sinclair is tried by the Minbari and Neroon is the prosecutor.

Sinclair is asked to become Entil'zha of the Anla'shok. After a major speech to the Minbari assembled councils of Caste Elders and the Grey Council, Sinclair is allowed to become Ranger One, and enter Humans into the Anla'shok.

Delenn is questioned by the other Minbari on the station about her transformation.

The first arrival of some Rangers on the Babylon 5 Station. (2 Humans and 2 Minbari arrive to begin setting up logistics.)

Induction Ceremony of the first Humans as full Rangers. Sinclair sends a message about the Rangers to Garibaldi and Delenn.

The mining colony on Arisia III is destroyed by the Shadows. Marcus Cole is the sole survivor, his brother William (a Ranger) killed. Marcus travels to Babylon 5.

Delenn is removed from the Grey Council and replaced by a member of the Warrior Caste, Neroon.

Marcus Cole leaves Zagros VII (a world the Rangers train on, and a world the Shadows have taken an interest in).

Sheridan meets with Kosh.

A representative arrives from Earth to discuss Shadow footage with Sheridan and Delenn (as seen on the Interstellar Network News). Marcus Cole also meets with Sheridan and Delenn and asks for their help in getting the Rangers away from Zagros VII. Sheridan inherits a 'White Star' ship.

Lennier is nearly killed when he saves Delenn and Mollari's lives from a bomb.

Mollari asks Delenn to help arrange for Vir to be sent to Minbar to work in the Centauri Diplomatic mission, empty for several years. Vir eventually leaves for Minbar.

Brother Edward, a new monk on Babylon 5 interviews Delenn and Lennier about their beliefs.

Lyta Alexander returns to the Station after spending time on the Vorlon Homeworld and begins working for Kosh.

The Babylon 5 War Council decide to try contacting the 'First Ones'. Commander Ivanova and Marcus Cole make contact with the 'Walkers of Sigma 957'.

G'Kar, the former Narn Ambassador to Babylon 5 begins prying into Ranger activities.

Commander Ivanova meets with the Minbari Draal on Epsilon III and uncovers evidence that the Earth President, William Clark is responsible for the death of his predecessor Louis Santiago.

Marcus Cole receives information from another Ranger. "Ranger One" recommends that the Rangers go on a heightened state of alert and pull back from Earth space, due to what's happening there.

Delenn breaks the Grey Council and leads some of them to Babylon 5 just in time to save Babylon 5 from Earth Destroyers who will not let the Station claim independance from Earth.

Delenn and some Minbari are kidnapped by members of the Earth Alliance for their part in Babylon 5's claim for independance.

The Minbari rebirth ceremony takes place in Delenn's room in Medlab and Captain Sheridan declares his love for Delenn.

Vir is removed from his post on Minbar when Londo discovers he's been helping Narns escape.

'Arthur', King of the Britons arrives on Babylon 5 to give Excalibur to the 'Lady of the Lake'. ('Arthur' was ordered to fire the first shot that started the Earth-Minbari war and came for forgiveness from Delenn.)

Ambassador Kosh is killed by the Shadows.

Sinclair and Delenn receive messages from the past (from Valen). They lead the White Star into the past to steal Babylon 4 for use in the last Shadow War. Sinclair stays with the station to become the Minbari's revered figure, Valen. (with the use of the Chrysalis)

Delenn becomes Entil'zha of the Anlashok and Marcus Cole visits Minbar to reflect on the loss of the old Entil'zha. (Sinclair)

The existence of a whole fleet of White Star ships is revealed to Captain Sheridan.

Delenn meets with the Alliance (non-aligned worlds) and the White Star leads the Fleet into Sector 83 for a fight against the Shadows.

Anna Sheridan arrives to take Captain Sheridan to Z'Ha'Dum. After a conversation on the Shadows reasoning behind the attacks on the younger races, he uses the White Star and a couple of bombs to take out the Shadows main base on Z'Ha'Dum. The last time we see him this season is leaping into a 2 mile abyss after the voice of Kosh tells him to jump.

(January - March)

Lyta, Delenn and Ivanova attempt to rescue Sheridan from Z'Ha'Dum with no luck.

Delenn's plan to attack the Shadows is met with fierce opposition from the League Worlds. In the meantime, Ivanova and Marcus attempt to solicit aid from some more of the First Ones.

Sheridan returns from the dead, bringing one of the true First Ones 'Lorien' with him.

The Vorlon's 'go mad' attacking worlds containing the slightest bit of Shadow influence. We see the Vorlon Planet Killer in action. Sheridan asks Garibaldi to remove Kosh (II) from the station, leading to the death of the second Kosh (with help from the last piece of the first).

Delenn learns that Sheridan has only 20 years to live.

The Shadows unlease their version of the Planet Killer as Ivanova and Lorien go in search of the last remaining First ones.

The Shadow War ends. All the remaining First Ones, including Lorien, the Vorlons and the Shadows leave to go 'beyond the rim'.

Z'ha'dum self-destructs when Lyta sends a telepathic signal.

The thousand year old ruin of Babylon 4 is discovered by Delenn, Sheridan, Ivanova and Garibaldi in Sector 730 x 12 x 9. They also discover an unknown species called the Tak'cha.

(June)

Delenn is recalled to Minbar to resolve a problem concerning her relationship with Sheridan, and must finally face up to her role in the Earth-Minbari war. It is there discovered that, as a Child of Valen, she is not pure Minbari.

Delenn investigates a series of attacks on Minbari allies and discovers the Drakh are involved. The Drakh are allies of the Shadows who are not amused they've gone beyond the rim.

Sheridan is captured and tortured by the Earth Alliance for his aid in liberating the Promixa III, Beta Durani and Babylon 5 colonies from Earth's rule.

Ivanova and the White Star fleet battles President Clark's 'advanced Destroyer' fleets (built from Shadow Technology). Ivanova is mortally injured. She asks Sheridan to lead the Final Battle against Earth from the bridge of the Agamemnon (his old ship before coming to Babylon 5).

Marcus learns of the Alien Healing Device (first used on Babylon 5 in series 1) and abandons the fleet as they are about to attack Earth, so he can trade places with Ivanova.

Sheridan and his fleet arrive at Earth, and shortly afterwards President Clark commits suicide but not before turning the planetary defence grid towards Earth. The Earth Civil War is ended.

Delenn puts forward her proposition to the League of Non-Aligned Worlds to form a new Interstellar Alliance.

(November - December)

Sheridan resigns from Earthforce and his Officers are granted amnesty. Delenn announces the formation of the Interstellar Alliance and invites Earth to join. Sheridan is named President of the new Alliance.

Ivanova is promoted to Captain and given command of a new Warlock Class Destroyer.

Delenn and Sheridan are married in a private ceremony on board a White Star ship heading back to Babylon 5.

(January - May)

Lennier leaves Delenn's service to join the Anla'shok.

G'Kar drafts a Declaration of Principles for the Alliance.

Turval and Durhan, Anla'shok masters, bring two trainees to the station and Delenn chooses G'Kar as a bodyguard for Londo.

(July - December)

Lennier is assigned to White Star 27 to investigate possible Centauri involvement in the attacks on Alliance ships. He witnesses the Centauri destruction of a group of Brakiri ships.

The Alliance examines the evidence against the Centauri. They ostracise and blockade the Centauri who then withdraw from the Interstellar Alliance.

Vir is left as the Ambassador to Babylon 5 as the Alliance declares War on the Centauri Republic.

Londo's people learn of their destiny with the Drakh.

The year ends with Delenn and Sheridan leaving for Minbar to set up the Alliance Headquarters.

Delenn and Sheridan find themselves captured on Centauri Prime. Londo helps them escape at a great personal cost. During this time Londo tells the story of 'In the Beginning' (the Earth-Minbari war) to his old friend Urza's niece and nephew.

Sheridan dies as the life force given by Lorien on Z'Ha'Dum fades. He takes a White Star out to Corianna 6 (where the Shadow/Vorlon War ended) and is met by Lorien. The White Star is later found floating dead in space, with no signs of entry or exit from the ship and Sheridan's body has disappeared.

Babylon 5 is decomissioned and destroyed.

A stellarcast discusses the 100th anniversary of the Interstellar Alliance. Delenn appears to refute the historian's opinions of Sheridan.

An attempt by one of Earth's two factions (1 in favour of breaking away from the Interstellar Alliance, one in favour of staying) to holographically 'deconstruct historial figures revered by the prolesector' results in the triggering of a terrible war that becomes known as 'The Great Burn' which renders the Earth's surface nearly uninhabitable.

An order of monks is attempting to find, record and restore the knowledge of the past, aided by agents of the Rangers.
