Coming back down was allot easier, except for the bit through the jungle which seemed even harder!
That night we all slept like babies and the next day we were still getting the lava ash that coated us cleaned off, that stuff gets everywhere! That day we visited another small island to relax, take it easy and try and work the knots out of our calf muscles.
On the beach we found the remains of a light aircraft, the locals had duly stripped anything of value which meant everything!
