Directions:

If coming from Euston or Kings Cross station it is best to take the underground - the Northern line southbound to Tottenham Court Road (on the Charing Cross sector, not the Bank sector). Change underground to the Central Line and travel eastbound two stops to Chancery Lane, then follow the instructions below. The nearest tube station is Chancery Lane (Central Line).

From Chancery Lane, when you get to the top of the escalators, go through the ticket collection point and turn left. Walk a few paces towards the wall, then take exit 1 which is the left staircase up to street level. You will be on High Holborn heading west. Walk straight ahead. The access to our office is on the north side of High Holborn (the street), about 100 yards from the tube station. The landmarks are Rymans Stationers and The Cittie of Yorke Public House. Above the pub you will see a square-faced clock diagonally above an archway over the entrance to a narrow road which leads into Gray's Inn. Go under the arch and walk about 25 paces until you come to the first building (which is on the right hand side). This is Gray's Inn Chambers and the street level door should be open. If you come up to the second floor, you will see a buzzer to the left of the doorway marked "Hudson ". If you press that someone will come and let you into the floor.

Alternatively, if coming from Waterloo there are buses which pass our office - route 521 is one. The landmarks for our office are Rymans Stationers and The Cittie of Yorke Public House on the north side of High Holborn. Above the pub you will see the square-faced clock diagonally above an archway. Follow the directions as per the note above.

Another route is to go first to Holborn station (on the Piccadilly Line). At Holborn station, when you get to the top of the escalators, ignore the turnstiles in front of you, and instead turn immediately right and walk towards the few turnstiles on the right hand side of the station. After going through the turnstile, you will be on High Holborn. Turn right and head east. Walk straight ahead along High Holborn for about 250 yards until you come to Chancery Lane (the street). Our office is diagonally opposite, on the north side of High Holborn, next to a square-faced clock on the wall. The landmarks are Rymans Stationers and The Cittie of Yorke Public House - follow the instructions above.

If you were coming by car (other than taxi) there is the dreaded congestion charge to consider. Also parking is a bit tricky in this area, although you can park in Gray's Inn for a fee of £16.00 for the full day (payable to the porter on entry to the Inn). I don't think they have a part-day charge but you could ask. There is also metered parking behind Gray's Inn, in the area north of Theobald's Road.
