| Ancestors of my seven-times-great-grandfather Thomas OSBORNE (1676-1727) and of my seven-times-great-grandmother Elizabeth PIGGOTT (?-1735). The PIGGOTTs were probably born in London but their ancestors may have had Sussex origins. Edward LIGHTMAKER's origins are unknown, the surname does not seem to feature in England before or after his existence in the mid 1600s at London and Broadhurst Manor in Sussex so he may have come from abroad. There is a possibility that the Lightmakers may have had connections in Derbyshire or Somerset. The LEIGHTONs originated in Scotland but may have moved to London before Saphira was born in about 1623. |
