HOOSON FAMILY DATABASES

One of the reasons for developing this project is that the name is unusual. It was no surprise to find that it had not yet formed the basis of a single name study. The name was registered in September 1998 with GOONS - The Guild Of One Name Studies.

The establishment of this study is really built on the data bases developed by Esmor Hooson. Understandably, early work involved hand drawn charts on large pieces of paper. He now makes use of Kith and Kin to store information.

Mal Owen has been using "Family reunion" to store the same information.

To date we have eight data bases relating to Hooson.
