Ahem. We played as support for Bates Motel
tonight, and well, we really weren't our best. We would like to blame this
on the weasel man at the Minerva for our incredibly poor mix, but we really
couldn't be arsed to play and it was a night where everything went wrong,
but we weren't that bad, just quite.
July 23rd
We played our first headlining gig ever
in front of a poor 40 or so people and we played a pretty good gig although
at about double speed since Mush who starts off most of the songs had drunk
three cans of red bull. But it went pretty well and lots of people jumped
round like fools for us. Support came from Retrograde who were pretty kewl
and did a kick ass version of Purple Haze at the end. Some recordings might
be online soon from the gig as mp3s. Pictures are online in the gigs section.

We are proud to announce that we are now
honoured by the presence of the Great Ak Ak Akimpanto - Lord of the Stoats.
He is now available to offer counsell on any problems that require his
superior and infinite wisdom to solve them. Feel free to write in and gain
knowledge from the wise one.

The recordings for our gig on April 30th
at the Minerva are now online. Our best recording was probably "Be" so
check it out.
April 30th 99
We played our first gig ever at the Minerva
for half an hour in front of about 70 people. The set list was as follows:
1. Celebrity Skin (Hole)
2. Praise be when Praise is due
3. Be
4. Ladykillers (Lush)
5. Girlscout (Jack Off Jill)
6. Freaked
7. Scared
The set went really well apart from mush's
guitar being out of tune or playing the wrong notes or whatever in Scared
and Celebrity skin being just plain terrible. We would like to thank everyone
who came along for their support.
Some of the live tracks will be available
for download in the Sounds
section in MP3 format.
Bates
Motel approached us after the gig and we might be supporting them in
the near future.
