A continuity error spotted in Chapter 5, so corrected in a second version. The name of the gentleman was not compatible with Chapter 73 of the first novel. I was thinking out the story for Chapter 60 and I checked the name of one of the characters and found the continuity error. The original version is still available. A second version of Chapter 5 has been produced rather than simply altering the original version as to do would have changed the historical record of the production of this novel and also may have caused archiving issues at The British Library.

This draft is, at the time of writing this note, thought to be the final version of the text. This draft 7 version is published as it shows the way in which the document is structured, the green rectangles are intended to be removed, they were used to line up the arrows to try to produce a pleasing layout. No decision has been taken at this time as to whether to replace the blue arrows on a yellow background with blue arrows on a white background, and whether to replace the yellow-filled squares that indicate the location of the anchors with white-filled squares.

This second version of the document changes one line of the song. Following publication of the original version there arose a question to which I have not yet found the answer as to where the idea was started by Gutenberg. Although the first books printed with moveable type were printed in Mainz, the idea itself might have started in Strasbourg. I am still trying to find out about this, for my own interest. I decided to remove the issue from the song lyrics anyway.
The original version remains available as do two author note documents derived from the original song lyrics, though they need updating due to the change in this document.

On Saturday 21 September 2019 I saw the word-of-the-day in an email from the https://www.dictionary.com/ facility. I particularly liked that word, which I had not known previously, and thought that I would try to use it in this novel. I had just a few lines already written in Chapter 13 and, looking back, I realized that something in Chapter 3, published some months ago, provides an ideal way to introduce the word into the story.

On Thursday 15 August 2019 a musical version of Chapter 15 was produced. This is based on the original version and the first two pages and most of the third page are identical in both versions.

An error was detected in the locsencube design detailed in the PDF document, after the description of the design had been published. This was in the location of the trapeziums. So the design error of the locsencube was corrected, the description in the text of the story altered accordingly, some additional text was added too, and the new PDF document has replaced the PDF document that was published on Friday 6 August 2021.
