Peter Wynne-Willson
Curriculum Vitae
A short time after graduating, in 1982, I set up with Jan Page, a
Theatre-in-Education Company called Big Brum, which took issue-based
participatory TIE into schools in Birmingham. I stayed with the company for ten
years, as its Artistic Director.
After leaving Big Brum, I became a freelance worker, combining writing
of plays [mostly, although not exclusively for young people] directing TIE and
theatre work, teaching and performing - both as an actor-teacher or
role-player, and as a clown or puppeteer. [See Big Sid page]
Alongside this, I have been involved in a large number of arts education
projects, sometimes as co-ordinator, sometimes consultant, animateur, director,
depending on the nature of the project. I was nominated in 1998 for a Creative
Britons Award, for my contribution to arts for young people.
This record of my work is structured so that you can look at my
experience in any of these fields:
