 After
a few days in paradise on Yanuca we were greeted on our return
to Seashell by the breakdown of the skiff on the way out to
Wilkes. We did enjoy our usual evening curry at the local
shop though, and had a couple of highly amusing trips to the
cinema in Nadi, where the films are interrupted in the middle
by a 15 minute break of hardcore techno music! Not what you'd
expect to hear in Fiji.
Eventually
the day came when it was time to leave. On the way to Nadi
airport, Ric realised that he'd forgotten his passport, so
we had to turn back, and then when we did get to the airport
he was sick. Steve and Craig being the ever ready doctors
that they are, helped Ric by eating his meal on the plane,
and then conning the air hostess into giving them an extra
one, which they ate as well.
