Heard the latest from DERBY COUNTY?

The reserves clinched promotion this week ,They lost on Monday ten Won 6-1 on Wednesday with Adde scoring 4 and Saha the other two. Our Marra at the match has sent in two reports this week. (pictures to follow soon)

With Dabizas out suspended for the weekend game, Newcastle have a bit of a problem in the centre of defence. Hughes will start, with either Stu Pearce, Steve Caldwell or David Beherall in as centre back.

David Beherall Pictured here is 19 year old and from Walker, He was on the bench earlier in the season, plays well alongside Hughes in the reserves and often trains with the first team. He is one of our better central defenders and has been withdrawn from both of this weeks reserves matches. fueling speculation that he will be included in the side against Everton on Saturday.

Still no news on who Ruud and Freddie are after in Europe. It is very likely to be a defender as it has been revealed that Steve Howey will be out of action for 8 months.

I've just watched Man U beat Arsenal in the cup replay. We will face them in the cup final. No problem, this time the cup will be ours, they are nothing special, we held them at home and will beat them on neutral ground on the 22nd May.

Congratulations to our neighbours Sunderland on their promotion last night. Next year we'll have 6 points to look forward to as we beat them both home and away . It's great to see them up. Let them have their 6 months of glory, then they will have the pleasure of seeing them suffer for another 18 months as they get relegated and have to do it all again.

Ruud and Freddie flew out of England yesterday and they are not off to celebrate newcastle's Semi final FA cup win in a brothel in Spain. (I hope)

That must mean that they are hot on the trail of one of the guys I have mentioned in previous gossip reports. I think it may well be Alain Goma that they are after, but as yet there are no confirmed sighting of there whereabouts. I will keep you posted on this one.

The Reserves were beaten 1 - 0 by Sheffield United reserves last night which means they will now gain promotion to the first division if they beat Lincoln at Kingston park on Wednesday night. Last nights team had Pearce, Brady Saha and Adde in it but they failed to get a goal and George donis scored the only goal of the match for Sheffield.

Tonight the youngsters will play At Nottingham forest , If they win then they will be through to a two legged Semi final then possibly a cup final. I will keep you posted on the outcome.

meanwhile Newcastle's Carl Serrant will do his bit to stop Sunderland from getting promoted tonight. He is currently o loan at Bury, where Sunderland are playing tonight. All they need is one point to get promotion, I can't see them not coming up, but it would be nice if they had to struggle a bit. I am really looking forward to them being in the Premier league again, Even if it is just going to be for a single season. Sunderland have said that 4,000 geordies would be allowed into the stadium of ***** next year to see us take 3 points from them pushing them straight back down into the nationwide league. It's gonna be a great year next year.

Semi Final Sunday down at Rik's place. The Newcastle V Spurs game is this weeks Match of the week.

It looks like Howey is out till the end of the season, No definite news on when Charvet and Domi will be back. Luckily yesterdays back four did well, so as long as we don't get any of the injured we should be OK defensively. With Big Dunc back things should get better for Newcastle. Is fifth place in the league out of reach?

Rumours that Newcastle are after French winger Bernard Diomande have been neither confirmed nor denied by Newcastle United. The Auxerre player is rumored to be coming to Newcastle for £4.5 million in the summer.

Real Majorca's Portuguese striker DANI who scored against Chelsea in the CWC last week is also reported to be on Ruuds most wanted list. This time the fee is reckoned to be in the region of £6 million. We will have competition though with Arsenal who look likely to be favorites to sign the wanta way player.

Well I didn't get a ticket, so I will be staying at home to watch it. I've constructed an imitation North Stand on my lawn out of some scaffolding, a few planks and an old tarpaulin. It's quite a good copy and a hell of a lot more stable. We have a giant 33" TV in the middle of the garden to view it on. I sent out 7,000 invitations to the season ticket holders that didn't get a ticket allocated to them. Most have replied to say that they won't be coming as the nice people at the Spurs box orifice have sent them tickets. One good thing about not going is not having to endure drinking out of the plastic beer glasses with Man U's logo stuck on them. I managed to get a job lot from the Notts Forest surplus shop. They have a lot of spare's as they aren't attracting the crowds anymore. Rumour has it they have been abducted by Aliens, another one went missing yesterday, some guy called van Hoydump, simply vanished half way through the match.

Big news is Big Dunc is back ! Alan Shearer commented "Big Dunc's back". he looks likely to be on the bench. Shay Given the one they like to call "SHAY" will be between the sticks. Bollocks, Bollocks, Bollocks, I had been hoping that the imbeciles running Newcastle United would soon be history as NTL looked set to take over. They would have pumped millions into the club to make us one of the best teams in the world. They would have paid for it by selling Newcastle United to NEW FANS around the world by WORLDWIDE TV subscription. Fans as far a field as Singapore, Australia and Japan would be able to buy TV season tickets. No problem with that is there?

That deal hinged on the MMC approving Man United's / Sky take over, which it has just been announced has been rejected. For some reason the MMC seem to think that there are very strong similarities between the NTL and Sky deals. Sky already have the premier league in their pocket so they are possibly right to reject Sky's involvement in Man UTD. But a bit of healthy competition would be good so letting a rival TV company take control of a premier league team can't be a bad idea. I hope it still goes through as Newcastles boardroom management are getting worse by the week. heard the latest one?

It looks like there could be a bit of trouble at Old Trafford on Sunday. The stupid Spurs box office are selling tickets to anybody. I mean ... if you send tickets to Tyneside , they are obviously going to go to Newcastle United suporters. lets face it, how many Spurs fans live on Tyneside?

The whole allocation was wrong. We should have been given 33,000 one for each season ticket holder in the first place leaving the remainder for the Spurs fans as they only have 15,000 season ticket holders they would have been able to sell the rest to regular fans producing match ticket stubbs.

The problem is going to be that a couple of thousand Toon fans are going to be in with the Spurs fans. So what happens when we score . all hell could break loose Spurs fans are notoriously bad losers. Full time will be a bigger problem image what could happen when we win.

I hope that the officials don't realise that if Newcastle win then the isolated newcastle fans within the Spurs contingent could be at risk. If they do then they may NOT WANT TO LET NEWCASTLE UNITED WIN. hmmmn , I will be watching carefully for signs of officials match rigging.

Newcastle United played a "behind closed doors" game against west allotment today. Steve Howey, and Duncan Ferguson were all reportedly involved. they won either 4 - 0 or 6 - 0 depending on who you talk too.... In an attempt to find out more, I paid a visit to Chester le street ground but they weren't there so i went to Whitley Bay's Hillheads park. (they were the reported opposition) You wouldn't believe who I saw there.... Read the world Exclusive in the

Any way the game actually took part at St James' park. No spies were present but I can tell you that Ferguson had a poor game, although he lasted the distance and got a goal having been out for so long he looked "A Bit Rusty" Howey on the other hand had a good game and looks likely to replace Dabizas on Sunday.
