Ruud Gullit Whatever happened to Ruudy after he tore Newcastle united apart with his poor football and man management skills? We can unexclusively reveal today that Mr Gullit has come out of retirement and is once again playing as a sweeper back in Holland. Ajax, PSV and Eindhoven were all said to be " not interested , for sure" in the former world player of the year after all the trouble he caused both on and off the pitch. Undeterred by this Mr Gullit has decided to join the mighty AFC. For those of you not into Dutch football AFC are an Amsterdam based amateur football team, well actually 5 football teams, and Ruud is playing in the FIFTH TEAM. As for wages, he pays them £120 a year to play for them. He first decided to join up after he found out that his old friend Marco Van Basten was playing for another Amateur team and that he would be pitted against him if he signed up. So how's did he do?  Badly, very badly , he missed a couple of sitters in a recent match and his defending isn't much better, Last weeks game against OSNO, ended 5 - 3 to OSNO, with Gullit again having a torrid time, "He tends to send 50 yard balls out of defence expecting his team mates to be able to get to them, then at the other end he has had a torrid time, be is a bit podgy and unfit after late night binges of Pizza and chocolates. He just can't seem to get off the ground, I crossed a ball to him expecting him to head it into the goal, Instead it went straight over the bar." A team mate mumbled " The atmosphere in the dressing room has gone as well" he continued "He is so aloof and remote, no one wants to talk to him, he just wants to talk about sex, and cheating on your girlfriends( See Ruud and the pizza girl ) but we aren't really that interested, I wish he would get another team" And that could soon be on the cards, Fulham are interested in him as player manager. No not THE FULHAM, Fulham Inn pub X1 are said to be interested in bringing in Gullit after a string of poor results. We'll keep you posted on future developments.
