1	Technology Change Management is too important to be left to technologists. An engineering mindset is a valuable asset for successful projects - sometimes necessary but never sufficient. Even engineers themselves sometimes find it hard to accommodate large-scale technical change in their own working practices.
2	Technology Change Management usually falls into two disconnected halves. Technology Management acts against a naive view of people and organizations. Change Management acts against a naive view of technology.
3	Without adequate Technology Change Management, both sides may be faced with an unending set of impossible demands. Technology Management generates demands on people and organizations. Change Management generates demands on technology solutions and technical staff. We call this loop Demanding Solutions. It is a special case of the vicious circle we call Demanding Change. People demand changes of various kinds. Changes themselves make demands on people.
