September

October

September was my second month with Sarah and Nigel. I think they are settling down well, although they do still seem to fuss a bit.

I have discovered the joy of playing. It all began when Nigel was pulling up weeds and put these gloves on. I was fascinated by them. When he took one off for a second I saw my chance and grabbed it. I ran round tossing it into the air and catching it, it was great! I suppose it was a bit mucky but I was still disappointed when they took it away. The next day Sarah went out and came back with a long knotted rope toy. This is even better. I especially like to drop it on the grass and then try to pick it up as I run past. I usually miss and have to turn quickly and try again.

I now have a fluffy, squeaky frisbee, which is my favourite indoor toy, however, when indoors, my first choice will always be sleep. I have a cosy new blanket and a fleecy day bed for lounging in front of the TV.

Its starting to get a little colder now, and I recently had my first walk in the pouring rain. I didn't like it but luckily there is a new, soft, cream sofa to wipe myself dry on.

For some reason, I now have to sit down in order to receive a treat. At the moment, I'll only sit down on my bed - you can't make things too easy for them.
