Diary

The big news this month was that I became a hero. On my morning walk I saw a kitten under a bush. Nigel didn't see it and made me carry on walking. On the way back I went back to the bush and this time Nigel saw the kitten. We brought the kitten home and Sarah put it in the conservatory where I couldn't get to it. I didn't know it was there at first cos the curtans were shut all the time. I discovered where it was when I heard it crying. It was there nearly two days before going to a foster home for kittens. I check every morning just in case it has come back but no luck so far! You can see a picture of the kitten in my gallery

October was a record rainfall month and as it was also getting colder I got my first coat. I don't really need it yet but it does have reflective strips on so I sometimes wear it for my evening walk. I don't like rain very much so I am always reluctant to go out when it is wet. I also hate getting my feet wet or dirty so I go to great lengths to avoid puddles.

We had a visit from Maria - Maria did the homecheck so that Sarah and Nigel could get me. Maria brought a rather nice young brindle girl with her who had just missed out on a possible home. We flirted a little but it never got me anywhere.

I am discovering new foods now - Tuna is the best thing in the world ever. Why did they keep it from me for so long? Why do I only get it once in a blue moon? Just when you think you understand your humans ...

Other things I have discovered this month are: Sarah's fluffy slippers (but they look just like a toy), Cheese (yummmmmmmy) and socks (if you ignore the smell they are great fun).
