Harbour Lights and Smuggler's Ride are two adjacent buildings which have been tastefully converted, to provide self-catering accommodation. Once an Inn called the Fisherman's Arms, Smuggler's Ride used to be the haunt of smugglers and wreckers! Harbour Lights was also known as Sandy Nook.
The flats are all self contained, each having its own front door. They are comfortably furnished and include televisions, DVD players, radios, irons and ironing boards. Electricity is included in the tarrif. All kitchens are fully equipped with toasters, electric kettles, refrigerators with ice box, electric hobs, oven with built in grills and a microwave oven. Bathrooms and shower rooms all fully tiled and have shaver points and electric towel rails. The bathrooms have a shower over the bath. Linen is all provided including oven clothes and gloves, all are changed weekly. Bath and hand towels can be hired locally. A washing machine and tumble drier (both on a coin meter) are available in Harbour Lights.

12 Harbour Lights (Saturday Bookings)
Harbour Lights is situated on the second floor, has two twin bedrooms, a bathroom and the lounge / diner incorporates the kitchen. It has spectacular views from the front bedroom and lounge / diner over the harbour, quay and beyond towards Tresco. The view is well worth the climb up our wide Cornish made spiral staircase.
14 The Mizzen (Saturday Bookings)
The Mizzen is on the second floor, has one twin, one single bedroom and bathroom. The Accomodation is on the south facing sunny side of the building and has interesting roof top views over the Thorofare.
15 The Sail Loft (Monday Bookings)
The sail loft is a romantic hideaway (Scilly's best kept secret). As it's name implies, this is a skillful loft conversion on the top floor with a long airy studio room, complete with double bed, L shaped kitchen and a dining and lounge area with seperate shower room. The views from the the picture window and velux roof lights are stunning. Watch the activity in the harbour, the sunset, sunrise or more distant views towards Tresco.
Sea Spray with superb sea and harbour views is on the first floor of Smuggler's Ride, the adjacent building to Harbour Lights (Not too many steps). One twin bedroom with fully tiled shower room and a lounge / diner with kitchen. both rooms have wonderful views along the beach to the harbour and quay
(Formally the Coach House) Situated on the ground floor of Harbour Lights, it has been recently refurbished and re-equipped to a very high standard. It has a twin bedroom with fully fitted furniture, new kitchen, shower room, new carpets and new lighting throughout. This flat holds a four star rating. This flat has the advantage of being on the ground floor and south facing onto the Thoroughfare.
On the first floor of Smugglers Ride. Originally this flat had two bedrooms but has now been re-moddelled to include a new shower room. A spacious bedroom with double bed and a comfortable lounge / diner with kitched. It has windows on both sides of the building. The bedroom and lounge on the sunny side facing the street. The kitchen has a peep od the sea and harbour as you look through over our internal yard. The lifeboat is usually seen at anchor from here!
On the first floor of Harbour Lights and is similar to flat 14, both having southerly sunny town views. The flat is being updated ready for 2009 with two bedrooms, one with shower over the bath and a new kitchen in the lounge / diner. Digital television is coming to the islands in June, so all flats will have new televisions.
On the second floor at the top of Smugglers Ride with one twin bedroom and shower room. The bedroom has sunny south views over the Thorofare whilst the lounge / diner / kitchen enjoys wide reaching views over a flat roof to the harbour, quay, sea, the golf club and the islands in the distance
