Welcome............. Image of hand-shake

Gone With The Wind or GWTW was released in 1939 and after nearly 60 years the film still remains one of the all-time greats. The popularity of this film reaches out to both the young and old. I was only 15 years old when I become a Windie (term commonly used for GWTW collectors) and I'm sure this film will never be surpassed in my life-time.

The film can be praised in many different ways e.g. content, photography, acting, music, etc. But the way I perceived it is that it can be 'educational'. It reminds us that life is full of obstacles and we must be strong to overcome them. The looks, charm and charisma which Scarlett had bought her the strength to be strong, however these were also exactly what led to her downfall. The film teaches us to understand the need to balance the strengths of a person and common sense (which I feel is lacking in today's society). The control and misuse of one's strengths can often led to their downfall. You have been warned........

This site is especially created to show my collection from this unique film. I hope it encourages people to see and appreciate the film and maybe one day you too will become a 'Windie' like me.......

Please come back to this site "after all, tomorrow is another day". Also as I'm monitoring the progress of this small site, can you fill in my feedback form after browsing this site.....

Thanks............
