Sailing Tuition.
R19 yachts are ideally suited to relaxed and informal sailing tuition. Whilst
their characteristics and general "feel" are similar to those of a sailing dinghy, the ballast keel ensures
that the inevitable mistakes do not result in a capsize. The spacious cockpit enables more than one pupil to be
taught at the same time, and the chute-launched spinnaker allows advanced techniques to be taught quickly and safely.
Instruction at a level to suit the ability of the pupil(s) is offered on a half day basis (09.30-12.30 or 14.00-17.00).
