1- BASS Masters
1) If BASS Masters Classic: Tournament Edition is running slowly, quit BASS Masters and make sure no other programs are running in the background before starting BASS Masters again.
2) If you are having problems with the program not running, be sure you have turned off all 3rd party memory managers.
3) If you get a black screen when starting, make sure the latest version of DirectX and Direct Media are installed on your computer before starting BASS Masters Classic. These can be found on the BASS Masters Classic CD-ROM.
4) If large blocks or magenta outlines appear on plants and/or objects in the game, you may not have the newest drivers for your graphic card installed. Please check the Web site of your card's manufacturer for the newest software.
5) Occasionally players may not receive their weigh-in poundage at the end of a round. This is due to the moderator clicking 'OK' too soon after viewing the stats. The moderator should wait a few minutes before clicking through to the next round (or exiting) to allow everyone a chance to see the scores. .

2- Battleship
1) At times the fleets will not follow their specified waypoints. This seems to happen more when the way- point crosses over an obstacle ( i.e.: islands, ship fleets, oil rigs).
2) When first using Voice Chat in a game, the first couple seconds of the conversation is cut off.
3) In a non-World Domination scenario if you select a ship from the selection bar and have no place to place it you can not return the ship to the selection bar. When this happens the player can no longer navigate the menus and must press 'Alt-F4' to exit the game.

2a- Classic Battleship--The Blue Game CD
1) DirectX v5.0 is required to run Battleship Classic. You have the option of installing it with the game, and if you have not yet installed it on your PC, please do so.
2) You must be in 256 colors mode and have the blue game CD in the CD-ROM Drive to play.
60 Second delay after launch: After launch, the moderator will appear on the game settings screen. The non-moderator players will see a countdown box with a 60-second timer. After the 60 Seconds are up, the non-moderators will appear on the settings screen. Please be patient!
The moderator will select the settings for the game. The settings chosen by the moderator will be reflected on all players screens. The non-moderator players should arrange their ships and then click the green button next to their name. When all players have selected their green button, the moderator can click the check mark, which will start the game. The moderator can select three different games: Regular (one shot per turn), Volley (fire until you miss), Salvo (fire one shot for each ship you have left). It will take 60 seconds for the game to load on your screen if you are not the Moderator. Please be patient! If the Moderator exits the game, the game will end.
During setup, when a ship is highlighted, right click it to turn it the other direction.
The moderator can toggle movie clips, music, and sounds on or off.
When you return from the game, Mplayer may appear with a large black background that fills the screen. The movie clips of the Ships being hit often do not show the correct Ship being hit.
In a game of more than 2 players, the Moderators name may be "Player 1" on two of three of the non-moderator players screens.
3) If you find that you do not launch into the game settings, click exit and try to launch again.

3- Bingo
1) When I join a Bingo game in progress, another window opens but the page is blank or I get an error. What is wrong?
Mplayer.com Bingo uses Java technology. Early versions of Netscape and Internet Explorer (web browsers) do not allow use of Java. If you have a version earlier than 4.0 of Netscape or earlier than version 3.0 of Internet Explorer, you will be unable to play. You will need to upgrade your browser to play Bingo Go here to upgrade Internet Explorer or here to upgrade your Netscape browser.
2) Players will also need to be sure that they have Java script enabled in their settings or options for their browser.
3) I clicked all the pieces on the card including the blue ones but when I clicked the Bingo button it said "No Bingo". What gives?
Players should not fill in numbers on their cards that haven't been called yet. If a Bingo is called by a player and they have filled in invalid numbers (even ones not in the current game pattern) they will not get a Bingo
4) How do I unclick a number that I accidentally click on?
Mplayer.com Bingo does not allow players to unclick numbers that have been previously clicked. In trying to emulate real Bingo (where non-erasable colored markers are used), the option has been removed.
5) I hear Bingo sounds but my ICQ and other applications are quiet. What's wrong?
Nothings wrong. Within the Windows environment, Bingo (and most games for that matter) uses the sound card exclusively. You will not hear other applications until Bingo is exited.

4- Brunswick Bowling
1) Alt+Tab does not work If you try to Al+Tab to go between programs, it will corrupt the
graphics of Brunswick Bowling, and possibly cause synchronization problems in the game. Don't Alt+Tab between programs while running Brunswick Bowling!
2) May Page Fault on Exit Sometimes exiting the game after it has been competed will cause
Bowling to page fault. Slightly inconvenient, but not harmful.
3) Does Not Have a "Tournament" Option Yet Although you can see the option in the moderator's game settings, it will be grayed out. This is being worked on for an update of the game after it is released on the service." Burnout Getting booted out to the Lobby or the Burnout finish screen is not a bug in the game. Multiplayer Burnout has a built-in time so chose players with slow connections and those losing packets from the server will get booted out of the game. To play a successful game, all players must 'synchronize' so the game can start or continue. We've found that eight player games are stable if all players have connection and modem speeds that meet the requirements listed on the game's box.

5- Chessmaster 6000
1) Retail players may occasionally receive an error when exiting the Chessmaster Universe. After clicking the 'OK" button, members will be transported into the Chessmaster game room normally.
2) We have reports of the demo failing to download successfully for some players. The problem is being investigated and we will update this page when a fix is in place.

6- Hardball 6
1) Changing views can cause the game to crash. Try setting up your view in single player before playing multiplayer.
2) Game closes and reports this message "Error message: Hardball6 has died: here's the die message: communications failure." Try restarting the game.
3) Alt+tab (which normally minimizes the game) sometimes closes and exits the game. Use the Windows 95/98 button located on your keyboard to minimize HardBall6.
4) Why does the announcer sometimes misreport the scores? The announcer's voice will sometimes sound like it's reporting something different although it's reporting the correct score, it's just hard to hear.
5) My gameplay seems to be slow. How do I fix this? Close all applications running on your PC. Also close Norton Anti-virus and or any other programs that could possibly interfere with the performance of your machine

7- Hearts
On rare occasions, when you launch a game of Hearts, you may see a dialog box that reads 'Mplayer Error: Attempted to write to communications Community that was unavailable. [-92]'. Select 'OK' and you'll be sent back to the Game Room. You can relaunch and kick the AI out of your spot!

8- Links LS '98
1) A remote player has left the game. Current game will now end (sometimes happens because if any player leaves game, game ends…however, is a consistent bug in the game for which there is no fix)
2) Problems with Links Demo not being recognized (should be fixed-was a common error. Suggest remove, reboot, and then reinstall Demo)
3) Problems with Links not recognizing certain courses (make sure they are the ones supported by us)
4) Links crashes before games complete (usually Links internal error, sometimes latency)
5) Links LS--is this an upgrade from Links 97? If so, you'll need to remove all elements of 97 and install only '98

9- Links LS '99
1) Players with network set ups on their systems (LAN setups or home networks) may not be able to host games. They should be able to play as a guest or join games. This is a known issue with the
mplayer.com peer to peer launcher and should be fixed in the near future. If you host a game and are unable to connect to your guests (they will get a "DPNOSESSIONS" error message) you should try again as a guest.
2) Due to the game's high hardware requirements, it is highly suggested to install the Full version of the game. This will help in reducing the synchronization times between holes. Also be sure you
have all extraneous programs shut down like ICQ, web browsers, email, etc.
3) Drop in spectators will add latency (lag) to a game. You can turn off the ability for people to drop into your game at the Multiplayer settings within the game.

10- Risk
1) When I go to play the game, it says that my CD is not in the CD ROM drive when it is. Why?
With the CD in the drive, double click on My Computer. Right mouse click on the CD-ROM drive and check the label. If it says RISK, then you have a version that is not currently supported by mplayer.com. We are working on a solution to this problem.

11- NEK
1) Upon exit of the game, you may get an invalid page fault error. This will not stop the game from working.
2) You may encounter difficulty in launching, and get returned to the Mplayer game room after a launch attempt. If this happens, please try switching moderators and attempt another launch.
3) Not all players who launch may make it into the game the first try. If you tried to launch and were not able to get into the game with the other players, please try to join the game in progress. If you launched with someone, but they did not make it into the game, you can wait for them in the game lobby, and hopefully they will make it in to join you.
4) Your game may freeze after game is over. If you are stuck with a black screen for more than 5 minutes after a game has ended, please use the control+alt+delete command to end-task NEK, which will say "not responding". This also may happen during the game, please follow the same procedure as above if your game gets frozen.
5) If two people are trying to use the same NEK retail code, BOTH people will be ejected from the game with the same "Illegal Key Message". If you purchase the retail code, do not share it with other accounts.

12- Scrabble
1) When I try to play Scrabble, it says that the CD is not in the drive or that Scrabble is not installed, but it is. What do I do? It is probable that your Scrabble game did not get installed to the registry properly when you installed it. Go to the Add/Remove programs area in the Control Panel. Check to see if Scrabble is there. If it is not, manually delete the Scrabble files from your hard drive. Close all programs. Insert the Scrabble CD into the CD-ROM. If the Scrabble screen does not pop up after entering the CD, Double click on the My Computer icon and then double click on the CD-ROM drive. This will bring up the Scrabble screen where you can install from.

13- Spades
1) On rare occasion the moderator will launch a game but will be classified as a player by the computer. The moderator and other players will see an error message and will have to revert back to the lobby.

14- Vegas Games 2000
1) Sometimes a game will not have all players synchronized properly in a game, Especially if there are a lot of players. Please exit the game and try to re-launch.
2) Occasional General Page Faults will boot a player out of the game, (this will slow down game play for others) please try again.
3) If the roller is dropped out of the game during his turn in craps, the game will not continue for the other players, as the roller status does not get properly passed on. Please leave and re-launch.
4) While playing a mplayer.com game, you can access the ATM by moving your mouse to the screen and pulling down the ATM menu and selecting the amount of money you wish to withdraw. You will only be able to access the ATM if you have less than $300. For further information on the rules for using the ATM see page 10 in the manual.
5) The escape key and "back" option (menu-bar) do not work on M-Player.com. This is because only one type of game can be in each room. If you wish to change game settings (like the number of decks in Blackjack) you will need to create a new room with the appropriate settings.

15- Wordzap
1) Rarely, a player's board may have blank letter tiles. The game must be exited (or resigned) and restarted in order to fix the problem
