Anthony Stiff Associates provides a specialist service in the fields of landscape architecture and environmental assessment. The Practice approach is to provide a professional and personal service tailored to project specific requirements. Whatever the project, we will advise on the appropriate level of landscape or environmental input. The Practice is committed to providing innovative and imaginative solutions in design, combined with a high level of technical expertise for environmental issues.
The Practice is built around the experience of Anthony Stiff who has over 16 years experience of landscape design and environmental assessment work, both in local authority and private practice. He has been responsible for undertaking a wide range of environmental work both in the United Kingdom and overseas. He is experienced in the specialist field of landscape design, and also has a track record of project managing major environmental studies, covering all aspects of environmental assessment.
The Practice is based in Blewbury, near Didcot in Oxfordshire and has excellent communications links to other parts of the country, including being 35 minutes to London by train and an hour from airports at Heathrow and Birmingham.
Particular project experience includes landscape and environmental aspects of offices and business parks, large institutions, infrastructure developments such as highway schemes and port developments, superstores, housing and sheltered housing, leisure parks and recreation areas, and reclamation schemes. The Practice is also able to undertake and project manage comprehensive environmental impact assessments, and the production of environmental statements in accordance with International and UK legislation.
The technical resources available include one qualified senior landscape architect (MLI) and biologist (dual qualified), and one graduate (part time) landscape architect, and the retained services of a further senior qualified landscape architect (MLI) and a senior ecologist. The practice also uses other part time and temporary staff when workload requires further resources.
