An Overview

CMSP is a naturopathic, multi-faceted health service supplier of integrated drug-free medicine, treatment modalities and therapeutic options.

We undertake research, evaluation and full clinical trials to demonstrate the efficacy of CMSP's treatment approach and to advance the role of constitutional, integrated, complementary medicine in prisons and the wider community.

The purpose of the treatment programme to address violence is to reduce recidivism and to serve as a protection for the civilian community. The programme employs methods which are effective with prisoners presenting with patterns of control, violence, addiction, self-destruction, malice and related disturbances.

The service also offers person-centred growth and specialist training for practitioners and a professional support service for those who have experienced violence, trauma and stress in the work place.

CMSP's aim is to establish centres that can serve as models for others to establish truly holistic, constitutional, integrated complementary medical healthcare both for prisoners and those in the community.

CMSP:

  • Provides professionally structured training programmes and to co-works with outside complementary medical institutes and universities.

  • Recognises the role of Integrated, Constitutional medicine in addressing criminal behaviour.

  • Implements the after care programmes to assist with on-going life skills after treatment.

  • Provides drug free treatment to prisoners as indicated below.

  • Promotes services open to all regardless of race, disability, gender, colour, ethnic and national origin, religious belief, age, criminal record and HIV or Aid's status.
