The Cult of Victim
"Victimhood, even as it has declined
as a real phenomenon, currently enjoys incredible popularity as a
concept. It is no longer something to be feared, but to be craved.
To be a victim in the Modern West is to have won the political and
social jackpot. If your self-identification as a victim is approved,
you are supplied with opportunities and benefits the rest of society
can only dream about: preferential treatment in job and
college/university applications, a free moral pass on many types of
crime and delinquency, excessive governmental attention to your
personal and social requirements, and - above all - the right to
treat your failures as if they are someone else's fault. Who
wouldn't want to be a victim?" [source].
"The culture of dignity (in America
and the West) is now giving way to a new culture of victimhood in
which people are encouraged to respond to even the slightest
unintentional offense, as in an honor culture. But they must not
obtain redress on their own; they must appeal for help to powerful
others or administrative bodies, to whom they must make the case
that they have been victimized. It is the very presence of such
administrative bodies, within a culture that is highly egalitarian
and diverse (i.e. many college campuses) that gives rise to intense
efforts to identify oneself as a fragile and aggrieved victim. This
is why we have seen the recent explosion of concerns about
microaggressions, combined with demands for trigger warnings and

"The rise of mass victimhood
is something slightly different from individual cases, being more
political and rational in nature. Those who lead or contribute to
mass victimhood movements do so for a bigger reason than simply
feeling better. They are in pursuit of something tangible, luxurious
and seductive: namely, political and social power. Black Lives

The Narrative
"[T]he criminal justice system is no
place for narrative. It is the place for adjudicating intentional
wrongs that cause specific, usually premeditated harm. If a
prosecutor tries to prove a case based on an emotionally driven
narrative rather than evidence-based fact, the prosecution is sure
to fail miserably unless the prosecutor succeeds in corrupting the
system. By contrast, when the justice system is working properly, it
is the place where we acquaint ourselves with reality. It is the
place that puts the lie to a narrative"

Black Lives Matter
"Racism doesn't exist. Obviously, I'm
lying. Of course it exists, but not for you. See, you don't have to
go to the back of the bus. You're not denied the opportunity to eat
at restaurants, or to enter night clubs, or to patronise businesses.
You have the right to vote. You're not being lynched. You're not
being hung. You're not going through the trial and tribulations your
ancestors, recent and far beyond recent endured so you can sit here

Cry-Bullies
"I don't like much about monarchy,
but the old saw they are said to live by - 'Never complain, never
explain' - is a good one. The Cry-Bully always explains to the point
of demanding that one agrees with them and always complains to the
point of insisting that one is persecuting them. They really are the
very worst sort of modern moaner"

agree with [them], on the other hand yelling 'ISLAMOPHOBIA' in lieu
of having a real adult debate about their merits of [their] case.

bring classic Cry-Bully tactics into play whenever they come across
someone who doesn't - shock, horror! - think the same as them, ...
In these cases, the claim that 'safe spaces' might be violated by
the presence of someone who thinks differently to them; but born
women, mysteriously, are expected to surrender the ultimate Safe
Space - the female toilets - to pre-op [males] if they are not to be

Social Justice Warriors
"An Intellectual Giant Hounded by
Fools: Sir Roger Scruton is one of the wisest and
cleverest men in Britain. It is a disgrace that his powerful, lucid
mind has not been placed at the service of this country, and that he
has instead been pushed to the edge of the academic and political
world ... I think the Government are exploiting him by appointing
him as an advisor on housing. They will politely hear out his
arguments in favour of building beautiful things, and then concrete
over the countryside with ugly box homes anyway. But the attempt, by
Left-wing fanatics, to get the Prime Minister to sack him, is
actually shameful. Sir Roger's views ... are unfashionable. But they
are not wicked. And I am especially disgusted by an attempt to
suggest that he is anti-Jewish. I have read the speech against which
this charge is made, and I can only conclude that his accusers have
not read it. It is not remotely anti-Semitic, and nor is he - unlike
the unpleasant author Roald Dahl, whose seething, repulsive
Judophobia has long been overlooked because his works bring in lots
of money to publishers and film-makers. The worst part of this

dark lands of Eastern Europe in the days of Communist repression.
They set up secret schools of free thought, where Sir Roger taught.
They smuggled aid in various forms to courageous dissidents who were
silenced by Left-wing censorship and secret police. Now, by a twist
he can never have expected, he is himself a dissident in a country
that was once free. And foolish, nasty people snap at his heels,
smear him and would like to see him silenced. We don't have secret
police here quite yet. But I can see them taking shape in a shadowy
form among us, and when they finally open for business they will not

goal is power and domination over the Western cultural narrative to

disseminate their world view along with the complete silencing of

in media hate speech that accompanied the [EU] referendum'. An
online petition... calls on Virgin media to stop advertising in the
Sun. 'We fully support freedom of expression, and freedom of
the press', the page declares, alongside other laughable claims,
such as: 'We don't take sides in political debates.'
Strangely, it only seems to target right-leaning newspapers that
backed Leave" [source].

buy certain newspapers or shop in certain stores. But putting
pressure on advertisers to withdraw money from newspapers due to
their editorial line is something different. This is a barely veiled
attempt to shut down newspapers some people disagree with"

Micro-aggressions
"SJWs have also invented the useful
concept of 'micro-aggression'. This is an inadvertent offense

it means the hate is buried so deeply inside the offender that he

highly developed ability to observe these micro-aggressions being

political-Left major backlash against the mass of ordinary people
(in Europe and 'the West'), beginning in the 1920s/30s, in the wake
of the persistent failure of Marxist theory to be realised in
European 'revolution' or any real change through democracy. In
shifting the blame away from Marxist theory and those gullible
enough to adhere to it, and on to those the theory had prescribed
and predicted would have been the beneficiaries, if only they had

cognitive-dissonance within the political-left mindset caused by

The Frankfurt School
"The Frankfurt School
believed that as long as an individual had the belief - or even the
hope of belief - that his divine gift of reason could solve the
problems facing society, then that society would never reach the
state of hopelessness and alienation that they considered necessary
to provoke socialist revolution.
Their task, therefore, was as
swiftly as possible to undermine the Judaeo-Christian legacy. To do
this they called for the most negative destructive criticism
possible of every sphere of life which would be designed to
de-stabilize society and bring down what they saw as the
'oppressive' order. Their policies, they hoped, would spread like a
virus - 'continuing the work of Western Marxists by other means' as
one of their members noted.
To further the advance
of their 'quiet' cultural revolution ... the [Frankfurt] School
recommended (among other things):
(1) the creation of racism
offences,
(2) continual change to create confusion,
(3) the teaching
of sex and homosexuality to children,
(4) the undermining of
schools' and teachers' authority,
(5) huge immigration to destroy
identity,
(6) the promotion of excessive drinking,
(7) emptying of
churches,
(8) an unreliable legal system with bias against victims
of crime,
(9) dependency on the state or state benefits,
(10)
control and dumbing down of media,
(11) encouraging the breakdown of
the family.
One of the main ideas
of the Frankfurt School was to exploit Freud's idea of 'pansexualism'
- the search for pleasure, the exploitation of the differences
between the sexes, the overthrowing of traditional relationships
between men and women. To further their aims they would:
(a) attack
the authority of the father, deny the specific roles of father and
mother, and wrest away from families their rights as primary
educators of their children,
(b) abolish differences in the
education of boys and girls,
(c) abolish all forms of male dominance
- hence the presence of women in the armed forces,
(d) declare women
to be an 'oppressed class' and men as 'oppressors'."
