This is our cosy restaurant. Originally it used to be the sitting room for the proprietor but this was converted at the end of 1997 to enable him   to demonstrate his culinary abilities to his visitors.

We can seat a maximum of 14 people in the restaurant and are happy to take party bookings if you wish to have the room to yourselves for a private party etc.

Due to the size of the restaurant and public areas we strongly advise bookings upto three weeks in advance, particularly if you wish to dine in the restaurant. Tables are also available to reserve in the pub area. For you comfort we do maintain a no-smoking policy in the restaurant.

As Sundays are traditionally the busiest day of the week we are sorry but we are unable to take reservations for this day. We advise you to arrive between 12.00pm and 12.30pm to ensure a table.

We light the fire in the winter and it really is quite romantic if you're looking for somewhere special to take your loved one for a quiet meal.

Sample menus are available below. This really is just to give you a taster of the sort of food the Hatch has to offer. As it is cooked fresh to order with seasonally available vegetables, game etc. the menu changes on a daily basis but we would be happy to tell you what we have on offer if you give us a ring.
