The Pyrotechnists Arms

Moving up Evelina Road, otherwise known as 'The Sunset Boulevard of Southwark', and swiftly passing the 'Green' we come to the Pyrotechnist's, a pub to rival any central London night-spot; here the beer flows freely (though not that freely), and the customers will greet all visitors with a friendly grimace, or the native two-fingered gesture of welcome. Despite this the Malt Whiskeys available at the bar of this pub make stopping here a must.

Away from the pubs
The attractions of Nunhead at night go far beyond the public houses however. If you require additional liquid sustenance for the later hours, or simply fancy a more intimate evening at home with friends, seated on the veranda and watching the hubbub of Nunhead's night life unfold about you, then there are a number of excellent off-licensed premises offering a bewildering array of alcoholic pleasures. And friendly service by helpful staff is guaranteed!
Eats

After the pub why not indulge yourself with a traditional take away meal, for Nunhead is in many ways the centre of London's take away culture. Here Nunhead's true cosmopolitan nature is revealed; select a meal from all corners of the globe; the Chinese food of Emperors, Indian curries fit for a Maharaja, Turkish fish that could grace the table of any Sultan. Ordering from home services are of course also widely available, placing Nunhead truly at the cutting edge of convenience food.

(Rumours of the association of one particular Indian Take-away with THOSE Girls has yet to be denied)

This is NOT a traditional Nunheadian wateringhole despite the mention of 'Bar' or 'Joint'
