A beautiful apartment, comfortably sleeping 4, located at Petit Chatel in the Abondance Valley, in the French Haute Savoie region of the Alps. Summer or winter, the area offers spectacular views, a fantastic choice of activities and mouthwatering cuisine.

 

Location

Châtel (1200m) is a true Alpine village located in the Abondance Valley, within easy reach of Geneva airport.

 

GETTING THERE

Its easy! Easyjet and Jet2 offer cheap and frequent flights from Liverpool, Leeds, Luton, Gatwick, Manchester and many other airlines serve the modern and efficient Geneva airport. Flight time is less than 2 hours. Reasonably priced car hire is available and the apartment is approximately 90 minutes drive from the airport and 5 minutes drive from the centre of Chatel, on the sunny slopes of Petit Chatel.

FOOD
There are many excellent restaurants in Chatel and in the neighbouring villages of La Chapelle d'Abondance and Abondance. The region is famous for its cheeses and smoked hams. Whilst you are here, make sure that you try the regional speciality of tartiflette.

SHOPS
Most shops can be found in Chatel. Some close out of season, but there is a large supermarket within 15 minutes drive of the apartment. There are also Hypermarkets at Thonon.
