Lily Savage's Blankety Blank

The Saturday night schedules are looking a bit stale and this long-established gameshow first fronted by Terry Wogan and Les Dawson, and now by the normally vicious Lily Savage is not helping. Lily always works best when she is tearing strips off celebrities or being crude and despite having a golden opportunity with six famous names trapped in their seats, she rarely takes it. In fact most of the time she seems rather bored by the whole thing. Sue Cook, the ex-Crimewatch presenter, looked terrified of her and while there were some lively moments with Donald Sinden, the rest of the guests were content to play the game and say little else.
