Members Lounge
Sponsored by
King & Barnes
For the first time this year there
will be an exclusive members seating area. It will be in the London
Room which is to the left from the main entrance as you walk in. For
those who are particularly lazy there is even going to be a bar in
there stocking a wonderful range of British bottle conditioned ales.
Of course you can still go out into the main hall to sample any of
the many beers on offer. There will be about one hundred seats in
this area and will be operated on a first come first served basis.
Membership cards will be checked!
Why not come along for a fun night out in many different pubs to help spread the word about GBBF.
There are incentives for all who attend.
Anyone making any of the following crawls will receive a 21st Great British Beer Festival lapel badge as a small thank you. Also, every time you attend, your name will be entered into a prize draw for £15 worth of beer, cider etc at the Wenlock Arms, Wenlock Road, London N1. So manage all three crawls and get three times the opportunity to win an excellent session at this well-known free house.
Evening East End Crawl, Thursday 24th June:
Start at Hamilton Halls (Wetherspoons), right by Liverpool Street Station at 6.30pm. Mid meeting point is All Bar One in Cannon Street at 8pm. The finishing pub is the Bank of England (Fullers) in Fleet Street. (This crawl was a huge success! Everyone had a great time. Don't miss the next one!)
All Day Crawl, Saturday 10th July:
Start at 11am at the Jack Horner (Fullers), Tottenham Court Road. Then gently wander around London pubs until late afternoon when its back to the Jack Horner for free beer and a buffet. (Yet again many people had a great time and we covered hundreds and hundreds of pubs!)
Evening West End Crawl, Wednesday 21st July:
Start at the Freemasons Arms (Greene
King) 81 Long Acre at 6.30pm; mid point: Moon under Water, Charring
Cross Road (8pm). The Clachan (Nicholsons) at 34 Kingley Street
provides the
finish. (Three out of three great pub crawls, although that is it for this year still get those posters up wherever you can!)
The entire festival is run by unpaid CAMRA members who give up there time to work. There are benefits.

more then contact Paula

Unfortunatley at the moment we do not have an online facility for
filling in staffing forms but all members should have received one
with What's
Brewing.
